We develop micro-robots that can inspect honeycomb cells with the aim of turning honeybee colonies into sensor networks for continuous, long-term ecological surveillance .
RoboProx
This large EU-funded multilateral project focuses on cutting-edge research in robotics and optimization algorithms for manufacturing and materials engineering.
The ROBOPROX project focuses on breakthrough research and development in robotics and advanced industrial manufacturing by leveraging flexible deployment of robots with a high degree of autonomy, safe collaboration with humans, control and optimization of manufacturing processes, and computational methods for manufacturing and materials engineering. The ROBOPROX project with a total budget of CZK 467.9 million was selected among 26 elite projects that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) and the European Commission support within the Excellent Research Call of the Operational Program Johannes Amos Comenius (OP JAK). ROBOPROX is the only project supported under this call that focuses on research in the field of robotics and industrial informatics.
